Low Vision Clinic

	SAVH has a Low Vision Clinic (LVC) which runs various programmes and services for people with serious visual problems. It is well eqipped with a wide range of devices and is staffed by one full-time LVC co-ordinator and supported by a team of seven consultant ophthalmologists.
	Appointments for our clients are scheduled with our consultant ophthalmologists where their vision can be assesed and the appropriate treatment applied. We can also provide low vision devices to help our clients make better use of their residual eyesight. In addition, we provide advice on lighting and other strategies which can help our clients maximise their remaining vision.
