Launch of Wireless Internet @ SAVHA gentle reminder SAVH is starting a new I T programme spearheaded by sighted and visually impaired volunteers who want to help the blind learn the use of screen readers, such as Window Eyes, other assistive technology and other I T knowledge, through peer sharing. As part of efforts under this new programme, SAVH will begin providing wireless internet services at its premises. There will be an event to mark the start of this wireless internet service, during which participants will be introduced to the new programme, and volunteers will help to set up the wireless internet connection for clients’ wireless devices, such as laptops and mobile phones. Clients are therefore once again encouraged to attend this event. Refreshments will be provided.
