SAVH Touch Art Programme

SAVH is honoured to have the voluntary assistance of 16 Singapore Press Holdings staff who initially came for a brief tour to better understand our services.

In two visiting groups of nine and seven on July 12 and 19 respectively, these lion-hearted volunteers decided to make some beaded jewellery such as watch straps, spectacle holders, bracelettes, necklace etc for the trainees.

These skills were then passed on to the trainees and volunteers in SAVH Touch Art Programme, so that they can add this jewellery-making craft to their current load of arts and crafts skills. Thanks to these SPH volunteers, our trainees now can make beaded jewellery for charity sales!
